Wedding Limo in Kenosha: Timeline, Vehicles and Booking Tips
Your transportation is one of the few wedding details that touches the whole day, from getting ready to the last dance. Here’s how to plan it so everyone arrives on time and the photos look great.
Step 1: Count who needs a ride
Most Kenosha weddings book transportation for some or all of these groups:
- The couple, from getting ready to the ceremony, and the grand exit at the end of the night.
- The wedding party, often 8 to 16 people, between the ceremony, photos and reception.
- Family, especially grandparents who shouldn’t have to park and walk.
- Guests from a hotel to the venue and back, if the venues are far apart or there’s an open bar.
As a rough guide, our 10-seat stretch Chrysler 300 fits a small wedding party, the 12-seat stretch Hummer a slightly bigger one, and the 22-seat party bus a large one. Our black Cadillac Escalade makes a great getaway car for the couple. See our fleet for photos.
Step 2: Build the timeline
Here’s a typical schedule for a Saturday wedding with the ceremony and reception at different places in Kenosha:
| Time | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1:15 p.m. | Pick up the wedding party where they’re getting ready |
| 1:45 p.m. | Arrive at the ceremony venue (15 minutes early is the goal) |
| 2:00 p.m. | Ceremony |
| 2:45 p.m. | Leave for photos |
| 3:00 to 4:15 p.m. | Photo stops (see below) |
| 4:30 p.m. | Arrive at the reception for cocktail hour |
| 10:30 p.m. | Couple’s exit to their hotel |
That’s about 3.5 hours for the wedding party, plus a separate short booking for the exit. Build in 15 minutes of slack between every stop. Photographers almost always run long.
Step 3: Plan the photo stops
Kenosha has great backdrops within a few minutes of each other along the lake:
- The lakefront and Simmons Island, with the beach and the pierhead lighthouse.
- Kemper Center, with its historic buildings and gardens.
- Downtown Kenosha and HarborPark, with the harbor, the streetcar and the museums.
Ask your photographer which stops they want, then tell us the list when you book. We’ll map the route and the timing. Some locations may require a permit for professional photos, so check with the venue first.
Step 4: Ask these questions before you book
- Will I get the exact vehicle I’m booking? Ask to see it, or see a photo of the actual car, not a stock image.
- Is the driver’s gratuity included?
- What’s the hourly minimum, and when does the clock start? Usually at the first pickup.
- What happens if we run late? Overtime is normal at weddings. Know the rate ahead of time.
- Is alcohol allowed on board? Never for anyone under 21. Ask us about the rules for your group when you book.
- What’s the deposit and the cancellation policy? Get it in writing with your quote.

Step 5: Book early
Saturdays from May through October are the busiest days of the year for us. Book your wedding limo three to six months ahead, especially for June and September dates. Once the date is set, we’ll confirm the timeline with you about two weeks before the wedding.
Don’t forget the bachelor and bachelorette parties
Many couples book the party bus for the bachelor or bachelorette night at the same time as the wedding. It’s one less thing to plan, and you’ll already know the driver.
